Moises Caicedo’s agent, Manuel Sierra, has spoken exclusively to Arsenal Informer about his client’s season and a possible move this summer.
This January, on Arsenal Buzz I exclusively broke the story about Arsenal’s second offer of around 65 million fixed guaranteed and 5 million in bonuses, and the agent commented on the Gunners’ interest with these words: “Arsenal is a great team for everyone; let’s see what happens in the summer, there are many clubs keen on Moises.”
Caicedo’s contract is set to expire in June 2027, Sierra confirms, and emphasizes that the player is focused on the final part of the season.
“Moises has 4 years left on his contract. He’s having an incredible season, so it’s normal that there are many clubs interested in him. Now he’s completely focused on the last part of the season; all evaluations will be postponed until the summer.”
“This is not a surprise because there aren’t many other midfielders so young and talented around Europe. I believe he can really improve in every aspect of the game.”
“He can slot into any [team] as he is ready for it all”
“His dream is to play in the Champions League and to reach as far as he can in football. His idol? Kante.”
And finally on the similarities between De Zerbi and Arteta: “They are brave intelligent and top coaches”
In response to recent claims made by journalist David Ornstein about a potential ‘special clause’ in Moises Caicedo’s contract that might facilitate a move away from Brighton, the player’s agent, Manuel Sierra, has dismissed these reports. In an exclusive with Arsenal Informer, Sierra confirmed that there is no such clause in his client’s contract for this summer, despite ongoing speculation about a potential move to Arsenal.
During this season, he has played 32 times in the Premier League and made 30 appearances as a starter, contributing with one goal and one assist. He’s, like all the team managed by Roberto De Zerbi, having an incredible season and is absolutely one to watch for the summer.
